Low Carbon Across the South East (LoCASE) is an EU funded project set up to help businesses tackle and adapt to climate change.
The network, running across Kent, Sussex and Essex aims to reduce costs by cutting emissions and to promote the opportunities of the low carbon market.
The program makes grants of up to £10,000 available to small and medium sized businesses in the South East.
BEE (Business Energy Efficiency) Anglia promotes the low-carbon agenda for small and medium businesses across Norfolk and Suffolk. Funded by the European Regional Development Fund, the programme has been set up to help companies reduce energy costs and emissions across a range of measures.
Grants are available for LED Lighting projects that have a minimum total value of £3,550 and a maximum of £25,000 - see the online application page, a lighting calculator and eligibility requirements here.
Target 2020 is a business energy efficiency programme that is here to help small and medium-sized businesses identify and reduce their energy costs and impact on the environment through the installation of energy efficiency measures.
The Business Energy Efficiency Programme (BEEP) is available throughout Worcestershire, Herefordshire and Telford & Wrekin offering FREE energy assessments and grants to small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs).
Enterprise Telford could help identify significant savings in energy use - a major business expense. The scheme offers an initial assessment of equipment, premises, processes and performance to improve energy efficiency and help reduce carbon emissions. Furthermore, you may be able to access grant funding (eligibility criteria applies).
Low Carbon Workspaces offers small and medium-sized businesses in Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire and the Black Country grants of between £1,000 and £5,000.
Funded by the European Regional Development Fund, the programme has been set up to help SMEs to replace existing equipment with more energy-efficient solutions such as LED lighting and Boilers. Grants help SMEs to reduce the initial cost of purchase and install and longer term businesses benefit from reducing their business energy bills and cut their carbon emissions.
For more information and to apply for a grant visit the Low Carbon Workspaces website here.
The Business Energy Efficiency Project (BEEP) supports County Durham SMEs who wish to make financial savings through energy efficiency and energy generation.
With support from both Durham County Council and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), BEEP provides a fully funded and independent audit to identify where financial savings can be made.
The Project can also provide SMEs with finance in the form of grant support to further reduce the payback of any energy efficient installation.
Rising energy costs are a significant issue for businesses of all sizes, operating in all sectors. The Business Energy Saving Team (BEST) can provide your business with a fully-funded energy efficiency audit, designed to help you to identify ways that you can save energy in your day to day business operations, thereby saving you money and helping to reduce your carbon-footprint. We may even be able to provide you with a grant to help cover the costs of improvements. So, you’ll reduce your running costs and be doing your ‘bit’ for the environment too.
BEST is a project, funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and delivered by local Councils, which aims to reduce energy use and costs in small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) in Gateshead, Newcastle, North Tyneside, Northumberland and Sunderland.
